Mauviel Cuprinox Style 3.4-Quart Copper Saucepan with Lid



This pan changed my life
I bought this pan because I saw it at a good price in a store. I'd always wanted copper cookware for its legendary prowess in the kitchen. When I forgot my marinara sauce, I got to see the legendary prowess in action.

My normal pans are copper-clad stainless steel. They are affordable, durable, and reliable. They also burn things somewhat easily. The first time I cooked marinara sauce in my Mauviel I was in a rush. I turned the heat on higher than I should have, and I left the kitchen to get things ready in the other room and completely forgot the sauce. My regular pans burn the sauce even when I'm in the kitchen paying attention. When I returned to the kitchen my sauce was at a rolling boil, but wasn't burnt. It was a stunning display of coppers benefits.

Since then I've lost a considerable amount of money to my kitchen; expensive, but worth every penny.
