Mauviel M'Heritage M150B 6537.35 14-Inch Paella Pan with Bronze Handles

FYI For Prospective Copper Buyer(s)
Ordered and promptly returned. The information listed about this product is misleading, or ambiguous - at best. While it is a beautiful piece - it is exactly 1.5mm thick - NOT 2mm, as listed in the item summary. If one were to just purchase this item based upon the bullet points, as I did, one's lead to believe that this pan should be 2mm. But reading further down in the details it gave very generic info regarding Mauviel's copper wares, which can have thickness of anywhere from 1.2mm - up to 2mm.

For a copper pan of this size, especially if you'd like a little brown crust for your paella or anything else, it really should be 2mm minimum. Or have a very large well controlled burner or be prepared for hotspots galore.

Beautiful and practical we use it alot.
I've made paella, mussels, and shrimp in the paella pan. It's beautiful and goes straight from the stove to the dinning room table and is perfect to serve from. Very easy to clean too.

the way to cook
Ten years ago , i bought a copper COUSCOUSIERE ,as a 'significant birthday' present to myself . [ Go on , admit it ....you know that you need one .] This year , i bought the PAELLA pan. Just need a little saute pan to complete my needs . But I won't be waiting another 10 years to justify the purchase .P.S. most of my stainless steel ware has now been donated to charity . Loving it .Between these items and 4 x 'LE CREUSET' items [ crepe pan , an oven pot for slow cooking , a grill plate and a baking dish ,] think I may have covered everything I need for minimal cooking ware . May update the baking dish to copper when the rich uncle passes on !
