After over 10 years ownership of our Seagull IV water filter, I've just had my second e-mail customer service contact. As in our first contact, the response has been immediate (one day) and effective. The product is outstanding -- probably the best home water filter available.

You'll need an unused hole in your sink to mount the faucet for this. But if you have one, or if you're considering getting a new sink, this beats faucet mounted filters hands down.
We replace our filter about once a year, and it does a great job.

Reverse osmosis is needed for all these problems. Also, there are better similar water filter systems for less money like the Eternity water filter for example.
